They will get classroom and hands-on training every week and learn skills that will help them in the fire service and also in life. Smoke alarms with replaceable batteries should have the batteries changed every six months

A convenient way to remember this is to change the batteries when you change the clocks. While you have the detector down check the manufacture date. The Henry County Judge Executive has implemented a burn ban for all of Henry County. This is in addition to the Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service.
