At 02:33 this morning Campbellsburg Fire and Rescue was dispatched to an injury accident on I-71 North near the 38 mile marker. Car 1101 arrived to find an accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer and two cars. There were four occupants none requiring extrication. Engine 1131 arrived and set up traffic direction on the Northbound side and began securing vehicles. Engines 1132 and 1133 arrived and assisted Engine 1131 while Forestry 1172 and 1173 set up traffic direction on the Southbound side. Henry County EMS transported one patient. Mesker's Towing, Burrows' Wrecker Service and Browns Towing responded to recover the vehicles. The State Road Department was called for long-term traffic direction for recovery of the tractor trailer.
